Dr. Gbadouwey is board certified and fellowship trained in pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine. He was born in Liberia, attended and graduated from the AM Dogliotti College of Medicine. He completed internal medicine residency training at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, PA. He completed a year of anesthesiology training at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed pulmonary/critical care medicine fellowship training at Louisiana State University, New Orleans. He successfully completed Sleep Medicine fellowship training at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts. He is a member of the Cumberland County Medical Association, American College of Chest Physicians, American Medical Association, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and American Thoracic Society. Dr. Gbadouwey served as Internal Medicine Chair of the National Medical Association (NMA) in 2018, and also served as the Pulmonary Chair of the National Medical Association in 2019/2020. He has given numerous lectures at national and international meetings on various disorders of pulmonary medicine.
